Notepad++ and Scala

  1. Copy the file C:\Program Files\scala\misc\scala-tool-support\notepad-plus\userDefineLang.xml
  2. Open the run command ( windows-key + R )
  3. Type: %APPDATA%\Notepad++
  4. Paste the userDefineLang.xml file here
  5. Run notepad++
  6. Under the Language menu, the second from the bottom will be an option for Scala
  7. Start programming in Scala :)
